Microneedling

Microneedling is a medical-grade cosmetic technique that stimulates collagen production with the use of a high-speed pen that stamps the skin with sterile fine needle tips. The micro-injury created with this process allows for skin rejuvenation, especially with this treatment, further enhanced by applying the client’s natural growth factors to the skin. It is referred to commonly as the “vampire” facial. This helps the tissue repair itself with peptides and growth factors native to the client from the natural healing process. This procedure aids with collagen stimulation, improved fine lines, decreased pore size, improved tone and texture of the skin, and reduced acne scarring. This is not like using dermal rollers at home because these tools are not sterile, and they create larger injuries to the skin, leaving areas of tearing and damage. After a series of three of these facials, the results can be astounding. Patients can expect noticeable results immediately after treatment and ongoing for up to a year (especially with maintenance in between). Redness, like a mild sunburn, can be expected for up to 24 hours post-procedure, with some skin tightness.
