WHAT TO EXPECT WITH XEO+® SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT
When you arrive at Awaken Aesthetics for your first xeo+® laser treatment, our highly trained medical staff will be happy to answer any last minute questions you may have. Then, the areas you wish to have treated will be cleansed in preparation for the procedure. A thin coat of clear gel, are applied to the skin just before the laser pulses are quickly administered to the unwanted reticular and spider veins.
At Awaken Aesthetics, we strive to make your xeo+® laser treatments as comfortable as possible. While most patients report little discomfort, some experience a mild burning or tingling sensation.
The length of the procedure can range from a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the depth of the veins and the area or areas to be treated. After treatment, you may experience redness or a “cat scratch” appearance where the laser was applied, but don’t worry – it will likely fade by the next day. Many patients even return to work just hours after leaving our office.
HOW MANY XEO+® SPIDER VEIN TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
ABSOLUTELY NO SUNBURN/TAN, FAKE/SPRAY TANNING, GLOW DROPS, SLOW DEVELOPING TANNING LOTION WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF TREATMENT. NO TATTOO (including permanent makeup) WITHIN 2 CM OF TREATMENT. CANNOT BE PREGNANT.

***These treatments are not sold in packages because we don’t know how many treatments you need until we see you at the follow up visits 6-8 weeks later. Some people need 1 treatment, some people truly need up to 3 treatments for best results.
