Collagen Stimulators

Starting in our 20s, we produce 1% less collagen in our skin each year. This leads to lost volume in the face, hollow cheeks, deep creases and wrinkles (think laugh lines), and hollow areas under our eyes. Biostimulators are used in the face, neck, upper arms, decolletage, abdomen, knees, thighs, and buttocks. This treatment results in a youthful, natural appearance for increased longevity because it stimulates the body to produce collagen. Biostimulation therapy stimulates collagen restoration and replenishes your face for a renewed appearance. We offer Sculptra and Radiesse at our office. This treatment provides compounded proteins that enhance the body’s natural growth factors. This solution connects to tissues on a molecular level, and the skin starts to regenerate, resulting in facial fullness, reducing wrinkles, and a natural glow. Biostimulant treatments will give you gradual long-lasting results.

The advantages of this treatment include:

Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and makes collagen within the treated area. Sculptra is administered as a liquid, and it can take weeks to see gradual results. Your results continue to improve for months after treatment, especially if you get subsequent treatments. This injectable can treat wrinkles, lines, creases, and folds to give you a youthful appearance. Sculptra gradually improves the injected area over several weeks, producing natural results. It is recommended for areas with volume reduction.

Hyperdilute Radiesse

Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, a filler that delivers immediate contouring and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Hyperdilute Radiesse consists of a process that thins out Radiesse filler with a combination of saline solution and Lidocaine. This combination is injected into areas where the skin appears to sag.

The results will appear in 3-4 months after treatment.
The results last two to three years.
The number of treatments varies for each patient. We recommend at least three procedures.
